50 an hour The Aircraft RRescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Specialist will ensure that emergency equipment is continuously maintained in a high state of readiness; provide currency training as necessary; ensure ARFF team members provide rapid response to emergencies; provide first aid to ARFF victims as necessary; perform other duties as necessary.
What you need:
Must have HSD/GED Valid driver's license and the ability to successfully pass an MVR background check State Firefighting course level 1 or equivalent Ability to complete 40 hour FAA approved ARFF course Ability to complete FAA annual/recurrent burn training Certified EMT-B Ability to pass a Medical Pulmonary Function test and annual OSHA physical Ability to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spaces Communicate effectively Work in adverse outdoor weather conditions Wear a respirator safety protective equipment as indicated Lift objects weighing various amounts weighing up to 65 lbs.
Perform work at heights Preferred Skills:
Prefer certification as a First-Aid and CPR Instructor Firefighter course level 2 1 year experience responding to medical emergencies 40 hour ARFF course or equivalent Experience in testing/inspection of building sprinkler and alarm systems per NFPA standards.
